Antoine Leclef
Antoine Leclef was born in Grasse and is a descendant of one of the oldest and most renowned alembic manufacturers, the grandson of a landscape architect and son of an architect.
Very early on, he was made aware of the elements of nature and of its perfumes that blend so admirably with the pastel colours of the Mediterranean.
After studying landscape engineering, an experience of more than ten years with a world-renowned landscaper, Jean Mus, building his work experience around the Riviera and the Mediterranean countries, Antoine LECLEF decided to get even closer to his roots, by cultivating and rehabilitating the land where he was born.
What could be more logical for this native-born ‘grassois’ than to participate, as his family has done for almost two centuries, in the preservation and development of local know-how in the field of perfumery, and to associate his profession as a landscape gardener with the safeguarding of the cultural and landscape heritage through local agriculture!
Philosophy & Team
Antoine Leclef defines himself first and foremost as a farmer, a gardener, a sensitive person who loves nature and works on nature with the greatest care. He emphasises respect for the earth, plants, architecture and tradition through ancestral know-how.

- By developing an exclusively organic culture, without the use of pesticides.
- By implementing prophylactic techniques that allow the fauna and flora to live better and resist parasite pressure.
- By preserving endemic and historical species, by multiplying and replanting them.
- By identifying, with the help of ecologists, the rare, threatened or invasive species present on the production sites, in order to eradicate or multiply them.
- By carrying out periodic soil analyses with the help of agronomists to better understand and protect the land.
- By creating complete biotopes, by optimising the management of the water offered by nature (streams, rivers, rainfall, etc.), in order to break free from the public water network.
- By installing beehives (preservation of the black bee of Provence) in order to promote pollination and biodiversity.
