The Landscape
All around the Mediterranean and for thousands of years, man has shaped the landscape to feed himself. Half farmer, half stone mason and bricklayer, he has built low dry stone walls to hold back the earth, paved paths to access the fields, canals to bring water to the cultivation sites and planted cypress trees as windbreaks and to serve as dwellings…
Whether it is a large estate or a small property, Provençal architecture is resolutely simple, sober and utilitarian; this is what makes it beautiful, exceptional and inimitable.
The notion of terroir is crucial in the design of a garden. It defines the atmosphere, dictates the behaviour, the specific attitudes to be respected according to the land and the plots, the hills and the valleys…
The landscaper is above all a “gardener”.
He must know how to stop for a few moments, observe nature and its behaviour in order to be able to understand it and accompany it as best he can. Under no circumstances can he go against it… This is the secret of a well-conceived garden!
Perfume Plants
Welcome to the magical world of perfumed and scented plants.
For the people of Grasse, these plants are our life blood, … our identity; they are difficult, demanding, even capricious … Yes! But we love them!
The profession of perfume plant producer is one of the cornerstones of a global edifice that has almost disappeared in recent years.
However, interest in Grasse’s perfume plants is rising from its ashes thanks to perfumers who know how to marry them with delicacy and sublimate them. But also, consumers are more and more anxious to return to the sources of a historical and exceptional raw material.
We cultivate more than twenty of them for professionals who know how to work our raw materials in their raw state: our flowers, our leaves, our roots…
They are independent master perfumers, great names in perfumery or even chefs.
Chefs' Vegetable Garden
Antoine LECLEF and his team have decided to cultivate their own vegetable garden and make it available to hoteliers, chefs and private owners.
Whether they are early vegetables, old varieties, small fruits or aromatic and condiment plants, you can take advantage of our company’s agricultural know-how to communicate your needs and cook differently.
We will organise your market garden production on our farm, or rather in your own organic vegetable garden. Our production, i.e. your vegetables, will grow in the midst of our perfumed plants, in rich soil, in the open air and at the right season.
